Besides surprising me at my baby shower, each time before we go on stage we hug one another to shake those jitterbugs as well as sending positive vibes and encouragement to one another to develop more chemistry on stage.
ABOUT KEANNA
Keanna Casey was born and raised in the Boogie Down Bronx. She started dancing at the age of four following her father’s footsteps with modern dance, ballet and jazz, but she knew she wanted to explore her options more. She started taking hip hop classes and from right there she fell in love and knew what her interest was. In her adolescence years, her and a group of kids from the neighborhood called “Xtreme Dance Crew” used to perform in street fairs and talent shows. Around this time she then crossed paths with a force known as “ N EFFECT and ROYALTY” which then merged into “RHYTHM CITY”. This is when her personal experience in dance started to evolve. Traveling from state to state, wining back to back competitions which put them on top of the map. As she started to mature as an adult, the family known as rhythm city started to branch off into different directions. Not knowing that family was still blended within, Ronald Coleman, Founder of Heartbreak Crew, welcomed her with open arms and now 10 years later they can’t get rid of her! Her journey has expanded into other companies such as Hip Hop theory and Pound 4 Pound.
